Jenni AI for getting words on the page

Jenni AI is built around autocomplete. You write, it proposes what comes next, and you accept, edit or reject it. Around that sit an essay outline generator, a thesis statement generator, paragraph expansion, a summarizer, version history and more than 2,600 citation styles.

Its five reviewers, also all on YouTube, focus on citations: they describe accurate citations and references, automatic headings, and the ability to cite papers from your own library. Some show it drafting introductions, finding opposing arguments and producing a literature review quickly, which is the very task Paperpal's reviewers say Paperpal handles poorly. Complaints are fewer but pointed: the interface can feel complex, and you soon need the paid version.

Both have free plans, and both are tight. Paperpal's gives 200 language-editing suggestions a month, five uses a day of its writing and research features, five AI scans a day and a monthly plagiarism allowance. Jenni AI's gives ten autocompletes a day, five AI edits and five chat messages. The paid entry tiers sit at a similar level: Jenni's Plus raises the caps, while its Pro tier and Paperpal's Prime remove most of them.
